Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 24, 2025
1. Our Fundamental Commitment to Your Privacy
Welcome to Relationship Boundaries Test. Your privacy is fundamental to our mission of helping you build healthier connections through self-awareness.
This policy details our commitment to your data and, most importantly, our 'Privacy-First' design.
Our core promise is simple: We do not collect, store, or share your personal answers or your final assessment results. Your journey of self-reflection is entirely your own.
2. Our 'Privacy-First' Assessment: How It Works
We have designed our Relationship Boundaries Assessment tool to be completely private. All information processing happens locally in your browser.
- No Collection of Personal Answers: We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal identifier to take the assessment.
- Local Browser Processing: All calculations used to determine your boundary profile (Porous, Rigid, or Healthy) happen only within your own web browser (client-side).
- No Storage or Transmission: Your specific answers to the 43 questions and your final radar chart results never reach our servers. We do not store, save, or transmit this personal data in any way.
- Your Data is Yours: When you close your browser tab, your assessment results are gone. If you wish to keep your results, you must save them yourself (for example, by taking a screenshot or printing the page).
3. The Information We Do Collect
Like most websites, we collect some anonymous, non-personal information to help us improve our site and understand how visitors use it.
This data is never and cannot be linked to your private assessment answers.
Anonymous Website Analytics
We use standard analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to collect anonymous traffic data. This helps us understand:
- How many people visit our website.
- Which articles or pages are most popular.
- What countries our visitors come from (at a high level).
- How users find our site (e.g., from Google, from a link, etc.).
This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for:
- Analytics: To help our analytics tools function correctly (e.g., to know if you are a new or returning visitor).
- Site Preferences: To remember your choices, such as your preference for dark mode or light mode.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how the site functions.
Voluntary Contact
If you choose to contact us via email (e.g., at [email protected]), we will naturally have your email address and any information you provide in your message. We only use this information to respond to your inquiry.
4. Data Security
We implement standard technical security measures (like SSL encryption) to protect our website and the anonymous data we do collect.
However, the greatest protection for your personal assessment data is our core design: we never collect it in the first place. Your personal data remains on your device, protected by you.
5. Third-Party Links
Our articles and resources may contain links to other websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
6. Children's Privacy
This website and its assessment tool are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top.
